November 22, 2010 - Pray For My Day

I got call from MD Anderson about 30 minutes ago. I thought they were calling to remind me of my appointments for tomorrow. To my surprise it was Mary Brolley writer for the Network. A couple of months ago I read an article of a women working through cancer and she asks for more articles on the same subject. I sent her an email and now she wants to interview me for the Network. Wow, was I surprised! So if everything works out tomorrow morning while waiting for my doctor appointment, she will interview me. The Network is a paper put out by MD Anderson.
Well, it is time for another check up! My day begins at 7:00 am at MD Anderson for blood work, then 8:00 am my doctor appointment. At 11:oo am I have a doctor's appointment for my recent blood work for meds. Then at 2:00 pm a dentist appointment for a deep filling (or root canal) now you all know how to pray for this one. NO ROOT CANAL!! Plus it is too expensive. Also, need some deep cleaning done. Then we are having church service and fellowship at 6:30 pm. I wonder if I will be able to eat.
Also, continue to pray for Barbara Conner, I haven't got the full details but she said she is still in alot of pain. Plus she didn't get any good news from John Hopkins.

Saturday, November 13

I know I haven't posted in awhile but this cancer stuff just gets overwhelming sometimes. Today I received an email from Sherilyn asking me to pray and be an encouragment to Joanne Nelson who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and will be having surgery November 16th. I just sent her a message on her Care Bridge page. So I am asking all my family and friends to be praying for her.
Sherilyn said she is doing good. Not having any bad side effects from the chemo. Praise the Lord! So just keep praying for her.
My next check up is November 23rd, so please be praying for another good report.
Well, tomorrow is my birthday and I just thank the Lord for another year. My Lord has been so good to me.
God bless y'all for being faithful to pray.
