May 20, 2012

It has been awhile since I posted on my blog. It is a shame that we get so busy that we don't take time to share our thoughts and requests with friends and family. As I see I haven't posted since my last appointment at MD Anderson. Well, it is almost time for my next appointment at MD Anderson again, it will be June 12. So continue to pray that I will receive another good report. If you or someone in your family has had cancer or is going through cancer, this time can be anxious for them. We have several on our prayer list with cancer. Here are a few I would like you to be praying for Missionary Paul Pelletier, Rose Theis, Pattie Walker, Leah Adams, Joanne Nelson, Stella Cheverere and the list goes on. As I mentioned being busy, things have been pretty busy at our church. We just finished up a 5 week campaign and it went very well. We had souls saved every week during the campaign and had families join us. That is what it is all about. Souls to be saved, nothing greater is to see someone get saved. We had a young man get saved this morning. God is so good. Our hearts our burdened for our city, s u[tate, nation, but even more so for our family and friends that are lost. We must take the time to share Jesus with them. Just the thought of someone burning in hell. Wow! Let's all get busy for the Lord. If you are reading this and you don't know Jesus as your Saviour, PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! I BEG YOU TO GET SAVED TODAY!!! Time is very short before the Lord will return. So continnue to read and I will share with you in how you can be saved. After going through cancer twice I wrote a gospel tract and here is what is in. First, alittle testimony and then the gospel. My name is Debbie Netterville, and I am a Ovarian Cancer survivor, twice. In May of 2003 I was diagnosed the first time with Ovarian cancer. I was treated at MD Anderson and went 6 years cancer free. Praise the Lord! Then on December 22, 2009 at my yearly check up I was told that it was back. That was my worst night mare. So then I was scheduled for surgery on January 4, 2010. My last chemo treatment was May 27, 2010. As of my last check up, I am still cancer free. Again, Praise the Lord! I thank the doctors at MD Anderson for everything they have done for me, but I just want to introduce you to my "GREAT PHYSICIAN". I could not of gone through cancer twice without Him. He gave me and my family the grace and mercy to go through these hard journeys. The doctors can do all tha they can do, but he has healed me." My verse for the first round of cancer was "...I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee:" II King 20:5 The verse for this second round is, "...This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby." John 11:4 So my mission is to share my "GREAT PHYSICIAN" with everyone I can. You Can Be Saved And Know My Great Physician The Fact of Sin is that all are sinners. Romans 3:10 "...there is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" The Penalty for Sin is Death and Hell. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..." Rev. 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving...shall have their part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone:" Jesus Died to Pay for Our Sin. Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The Individual Response to the Gospel means that one cannot work to save himself, one must turn from self or religion and ask God to save them. Romans 10:9,10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If in your heart you believe and are willing to meet THE GREAT PHYSICIAN to be saved you must repent of your sin and place your faith in Jesus as Saviour. Call upon the Lord by praying to Him: "Dear Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I repent of my sin, and ask you for mercy and forgiveness through the shed blood of your Son, Jesus. I believe your promise, that from this moment on, according to your Word, I will be your child and that you will reserve a home in Heaven for me. Thank you for saving me, in Jesus name. Amen." Now, if you have received the Lord as your Saviour, please let me know. Going through cancer is an awful thing for you and for your family. The best way to travel through this valley is with the Lord. He gives grace and strength just when you need it the most. Also, share this with your family and friends.
